Nice weather, poor results....

After a long spate of unfriendly weather conditions that included tornado warnings last week, we finally carved out a pleasant day yesterday, and I took out a local fishing buddy, Jack Balme, for a few hours on the Indian River. The water quality can only be described as "poor, " at this time, with algae spreading down from Melbourne and moving southward. However, with a lot of movement and perseverance we were able to bring in some trout and redfish. We're hoping that the arrival of spring weather will bring good news for our area and that the species we usually expect to find in our lagoon and the Inlet and the Sebastian River will return very quickly.
