We fished twice this week. On the first outing, with Rick Pino and Jack Balme of Sebastian, we did very well--with look-downs, sea trout up to 19", ladyfish, jack crevelles, and a surprisingly large amount of silver trout up to 20"--the biggest I've ever encountered. We also got pompano up to 19". On Sunday Rick Pino, Bonnie, and I had a pleasant afternoon with sea trout, silver trout, whiting, look-downs and ladyfish. Dolphins were circling our boat for the whole trip; they're pleasant company for the most part, although they tend to scare off a lot of the fish. Water temps are now in the low 70's, and conditions are improving daily. We'll continue to fish the Indian River and Sebastian Inlet for the next four weeks, and in early April we'll be making our way home in preparation for our Long Island Sound charters that should begin in late April/early May.
