Report for Sebastian Florida

As mentioneded in last week's report, we finished off our Florida charters with Norwalker, Frank Chiaffalo, on Sunday, April 2. It was a great trip--with a boatload of more than 20 sea trout, ladyfish up to 33", and many feisty jack crevelles. The weather was perfect, and the action was steady after a slow start. We spent the past two days getting our Sebastian boat ready for its seasonal lay-up, and we'll be heading home this weekend. As soon as we return, work will begin on our northern boat, and it should be launched in mid-late April. Charter reservations are starting to come in, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into Long Island Sound and finding striped bass for my customers. Look for our first Connecticut reports at the end of April or the first week in May.
