It's finally begun to warm up in our area, and we've been out only twice in the last ten days. Today the highs were in the low 80's, and we fished with locals, Jack Balme and Rick Pino. The action was on the slow side, but we did manage to bring in some sea trout around the flats off of Grant and along the shorelines, where we found some Spanish mackerel and small jacks up to three pounds. We spent some time around the Sebastian Inlet, but we didn't find anything today, although we've heard stories that some bluefish have been taken there recently. We did note that the Indian River is extremely shallow right now, and the water temps are still on the cool side (68-69 degrees), which doesn't make for ideal fishing conditions. Of course, we're always optimistic that things will get better....

Tight Lines,
