The Snook bite has been good as of late. Finding decent bait has been the challenge. This mornings outgoing tide produced some nice numbers for Snook. We managed about 20 or so all in the 22 to 26 inch range. I had to chum heavy to get them to bite. Along with the Snook the Mangrove Snapper were eating the small bait. The snapper bite has been in full force. We have been catching some lots of snapper up 19inches in length, all being caught inshore. Mackerel have slowed a bit from recent weeks but they are still around on the deeper flats in the 6 foot range. Look for big pods of bait showering and moving water. Trout are still around on the deeper flats as well. Both the Trout and Mackerel seem to like the smaller bait. There are still a few Tarpon around but most have pushed offshore. Hope to see you out on the water! Tight lines!!!!!!! Capt. Jason Prieto www.steadyactionfishingcharters.com [email protected] 813-727-9890
