Submitted by George, Imagination Bassin Guide Services Date Fished: 6/26/02 Water Temperature: 80' Water Clarity: 1-3 feet Scott left the ramp at daybreak and fished until the storms chased him off the water. Clients Brian Graves and friend and John accompanied him to the Pump house and spillway areas. Using Carolina rigs tipped with Senkos they boated 78 bass to 6.5 pounds. Most came at the pump house with about 10 from the spillway. The spillway is starting to produce. After a short break for the storms that were rolling through they moved out to the cut going into the Stickmarsh and were able to boat another 12 before a bigger storm chased them off. I left the ramp with Mark Kirchner and Mark Colvin about 15 minutes after Scott and stopped at the cut going into the Marsh. Using Carolina rigs baited with Senkos we boated by 2:00, 142 bass to 5.5 pounds. I hope you noticed that the Senkos produced a total of 232 bass for the day. Do Senkos make a difference? I think the answer is obvious that they do. It was simply a matter of working the current. The bass were most willing to play and everyone was very happy that they were. Mark and Mark head back to work tomorrow but Brian and John will be back to see if they can do better. I think they just might be able to. See ya on the water.
