Date Fished: 6/18/2000 Water Temperature: 89 Water Clarity: 1 foot The paving is finished and the parking lot looks great. Lines to indicate parking should help a lot. Fishing started up in the exact spot that it left off a week ago. Top water bite was all day and we landed 57 bass by the time we quit. Chug bugs can't be beat! All this top water action and a full moon kind of contradict all those lunar effect tales. Someone had asked on the tactics board of BFHP if a full moon had much effect on bass fishing and my answer was that I don't think so. Today's results reinforced that belief. If you get on the fish you will catch them, if not then I guess you could blame it on the full moon. Water depth we were fishing varies from 4 feet to mere inches. Hydrilla is coming back strong on the Farm and a great deal of the area now has emerging heads. Be careful at the launch, as the water is lower than last week. Definitely be careful on the Farm, as the levees are shallow enough to go aground.
