Mixed Summertime bag out of teh Stuart Inlet

Fishing for the past couple of weeks out of the Stuart inlet can be classified as good to excellent. Bait has been readily available along the beach North and South of the inlet. Fishing inshore of 50ft has been producing decent numbers of kingfish under 20lbs and some Cobia. Plenty of Bonito to bend the rod too. Trying chumming live bait to get the fish close enough for ultra light tackle or fly rod. Offshore dolphin fishing has been hit or miss. One day we will catch 8 the next two days none. Most of the fish are small so keep some light tackle pitch rods ready with a small hook for cut bait or a little jig. Sail fishing has been the most consistent fishing on the surface with 1-3 bites a day both on the troll and with live bait. Best depths have varied but most consistent has been between 130-180ft. {%image_id=21501%} Bottom fishing has been out of control up till Friday when the current started screaming to the North. We had as much as 5.5knots of drift in 220ft of water CRAZY! Upto 3 knots of drift in 80ft made it difficult lately. Up till the current started though we were catching a limit of Sea Bass and Amberjack everyday.
