Sailfish and Dolphin

Fall is finally here and the sailfish and dolphin have started migrating south for the winter.{%image_id=61246%} The dolphin fishing has been good to excellent and we're catching some big ones. Most of the dolphin have been heavy lifters of 7 to 10 pounds with a few gaffers of 15 to 25 pounds in the mix. We had a slammer this week that blew up the squid chain before blasting the flat line and putting on a show. That Bull Dolphin weighed in at 36 pounds and was caught by a first time offshore angler, you gotta love it. {%image_id=61250%} The sailfish are starting to show up as well. We're not catching double digits yet but we're getting 2 to 4 sailfish bites on most of our fishing charters. Sailfish, dolphin, kingfish and bonito are providing the action with a few wahoo, tuna and cobia scattered about.
