SUPER SEPTEMBER IN STUART FLORIDA

The past week of fishing has been to say the least AWESOME out of Stuart Florida. In four days of charter fishing we have seen 23 sails while trolling and caught 7-11 bites. A lot of cutters and window shoppers. Besides the sail action we have had excellent dolphin and Blackfin tuna fishing. We have caught 25 mahi's with the biggest being around 15-18lbs. The best Dolphin and Sailfishing has occurred in depths between 130-300ft East to NorthEast of the inlet. Blackfin tuna fishing has been excellent on Push Button hill as long as there is not to many boats to run them down. Wahoo fishing has remained fair to good before the full moon and if history repeats itself should remain pretty strong up to a week to 10 days after the moon. {%image_id=22525%}{%image_id=22524%}{%image_id=22522%} Because of the swell bottom fishing has been on the slower side but we did have a day with a limit of Snapper, Amberjack and SeaBass. As of late Atlantic Sharpnose sharks have invaded the reef. {%image_id=22523%} Live bait unless desiring mullett has been nearly non-existant. But the trolling bite has been great. Expect to go through 4-6 dozen baits in a full day of trolling. Tight-lines
