September 6: Yesterday and last night we fished a wahoo/swordfish combo trip. We left out of the St Lucie Inlet at 3pm and headed South in search of some wahoo high-speed trolling. We ended up catching a couple of wahoo before dark and headed offshore to look for a swordfish (the Gladiator of the Sea) We did not have a sword bite before the weather turned bad. We ran for cover into the Jupiter Inlet where we tied up for a couple of hours waiting on the weather and we had some excellent snook fishing. We ended up having 13 bites and catching and releasing 6 fish (2 over slot and 4 under). One of the snook only had one eye. Pretty weird looking! The weather cleared at 4am and we headed for home! {%image_id=40276%} {%image_id=40277%} {%image_id=40278%} September 7: Last night we fished with repeats customers Cole, Phillip and their guests. We had a late start because of weather and an early finish because of weather. Can't say we didn't try. The high-lite of the night was a 20lb mahi swimming through the light that we did not get a bite from and also our one and only sword bite at 2:45am that unfortunately pulled off after a couple of minutes. {%image_id=40280%} September 9: Yesterday and Last night we fished for wahoo and swordfish on a wahoo/sword combo trip. We didn't have much action but we did catch a really nice swordfish and a mahi-mahi to boot. We started high speed trolling on our charter for wahoo but only managed to catch a 12lb mahi. We ran offshore and set up for trolling and managed to catch a really nice size swordfish at 2:30am. It was our only bite fishing from 9pm-4am when the weather turned bad. The fished was 110" overall and weighed in at 185lbs. {%image_id=40281%} {%image_id=40282%} {%image_id=40283%} {%image_id=40284%} September 10: The fishing in the river, the inlets and on the beach are lock and load right now for BIG snook and tarpon.
