The weather has been a constant battle this tarpon season. In between the storms, rain, and west winds, we had some good days on the water these past few weeks. Fly anglers had some good chances at glory, late in the season. The tarpon were not as plentiful as the prime time months of May and June. The amount of tarpon we saw numbered between 3 fish, to 30 fish, in a half day of fishing. Tarpon this time of year don't have spawning on there minds. The fish we encountered were high in the water column and willing to react to a well presented fly. A few days resulted in multiple eats or hook ups. {%image_id=5783%} {%image_id=5784%} {%image_id=5785%}
