Bite Improving after Cold Front

Fishing after this last cold front, slowed the bite down a bit. The water temperatures dropped about 8 degrees, creating dirty water in some areas. As the water temps and clarity continues to get back to normal, look for the bite to increase! {%image_id=53424%} The redfish bite continues to stay consistent on the incoming tide. White bait and shrimp have been the go-to on a float drifting in-front of the mangrove edge and around oyster bars. Snook were a little shook-up after the cold front but have rebounded quickly as they start making the move to the beaches. Green backs and grunts can get a bite if their feeding switch is on. The trout bite has slowed a bit, but there's still some good size trout around in the 17-22 inch range. Greenies with their tail cut can get those lazy fish to commit as they don't have to chase it to feed. Tight Lines, Captain Dustin (727) 487-3045 www.captaindustin.com
