Cooler Weather will Heat Up Fishing

Well soon the water temperature will start cooling down and the fishing will start heating up in the Gulf of Mexico. Red grouper, gray snapper, mangrove snapper, lane snapper and porgies have been great this year. Gag grouper, on the other hand, are a little hard to find the last few years. Amberjack and red snapper are closed for now. Sea bass and hog snapper will soon start showing up in the 40 to 60 ft. depth once the water starts cooling down. Keep in mind, the fish will not be as active in the winter so squid and dead sardines will be the bait of choice in the winter months. King mackerel and Spanish mackerel will also start making their way down from the panhandle working their way south. Slow trolling with live baits will offer you the best results! {%image_id=50149%} Book your trip of a life time today! Call 1-800-350-5001, or visit: www.offshorehustler.com. Capt.
