Fall Fishing

The fishing has been great the past week. I filmed a show with Capt. Mike Anderson of Reel Animals Fishing that was non stop. {%image_id=40808%}We started with Speckled Trout. Then caught a bunch of in the slot size Redfish with a few fun size Snook mixed in.{%image_id=40809%}{%image_id=40810%} We started fishing around 8am and where back at the dock by 12 noon. It is also going off on the beaches around Anna Maria Island.{%image_id=40807%} Spanish Mackerel, Kings, Sharks and Bonita are all working the bait schools.{%image_id=40811%} Just look for birds working off the beach on the schools. Silver spoons, Nylon jigs and Gotcha plugs are all you need for some fun action. Of coarse a frozen chum bag tied on the transom with a well full of sardines really does the trick!
