With some white bait showing up on some of the flats. The Snook bite has turned on. Catching Under and Over Slot fish, Very few were in the 28 - 33 inch slot. The Snook that have been landed look healthy. Proves that the closing of Snook Season for a few years worked. Redfish of all sizes along with some larger Trout are roaming the flats on the high water. Sheepshead, Black Sea Bass and smaller Mangrove Snapper were landed around rock piles throughout the bay along with tons of Spanish Mackerel. The King Fish should be showing up soon around the Skyway along with the Silver King (Tarpon). Expecting the bite to get better with the approaching New Moon Tides.
