Friday 1/2/2009 we had a great redfish bite in lower Tampa Bay. I found some really large fish that were anxious to eat MirrOLure Top Dogs and Gulp Shrimp. The topwater bite came off the broken bottom grass flats and the Gulp's off oyster bars. We had two reds in the 29 to 31 inch range and other around 28. Redfish are terrific fun on light tackle. Monday 1/9/2009 we fished the outside of Bishops in the deep water grass and caught a two person limit of large Sea Trout. The fish averaged in the 18 to 22 inch range and we caught them on live shrimp and artificial soft plastics rigged on 1/4 oz. jigheads. "GIVE ME A CALL & LET'S GO FISHING" Capt.
