Tampa, FL Fishing Report July 23, 2014

Reel Till U Feel Charters Fishing Report for Tampa Bay. Tampa has had right at 12 ½ inches of rain so far for the month of July, With an average rainfall of only a little over 7 inches, Putting the Tampa area about 10 inches above normal year to date rainfall. Even with all the rain it hasn't stop the bite. Mangrove Snappers are all over the bay biting Small Sardine and Shrimp. Redfish have been hitting Shrimp, Sardine and cut Pinfish. On recent charters anglers have landed mix bag of catches fishing the grass flats. Spanish Mackerel, Both Spotted and Silver Trout, Jacks, Bonnethead Sharks, & Flounder. Fishing the dock lights at night has landed us with some really nice Snook. Remember that Snook are catch an release only through August 31st. Get out on the water and have some fun.
