Warm Winter and Good Fishing

Warm Winter and Good Fishing Well this has been by far the warmest December I can remember. With the temps still in the upper 80's, some of the fish that we would normally not see here this time of the year are still here. And the crappy weather that is normally here, is not, so that's great for fishing offshore. When you're still catching king mackerel in January, something is defiantly off. {%image_id=46660%} {%image_id=46662%} But it's a good thing for the fish box and the customers. Red grouper and amberjack are now open again! Mangrove snapper has been on fire for the last few months. Porgy, gray snapper, sea bass, Spanish mackerel and hogfish are also fish we have been catching. As we finally start getting into some colder weather, cut bait will be the way to go as these fish will not be as active in cooler water temps. {%image_id=46661%} Give me a call and let's talk fishing.
