September fishing has been on fire to say the least. The bait fish migration is full force and the fish are fattening up! There is an incredible tarpon bite at first light, but it is a short bite.{%image_id=15845%} Sharks and mackeral are everywhere feeding on the giant schools of ladyfish. {%image_id=14232%} Snook are scouring the surf line devouring the tiny bait fish. The fly fisherman is out fishing even the live bait guys due to the size of the local forage bait. Sight fishing schools of snook running along the surf line in less than a foot of water. Guys down south are finding sporadic schools of red fish, but it has been hit or miss. And when it is a hit, you're in a school which can yield up to 30 fish. {%image_id=14231%} This is when Naples and Marco is on fire!
