Tarpon are in full swing! The season has finally started to blow up! Tarpon are flooding the islands as you read report! Big tarpon over a hundred pounds waiting for a well presented cast. If you can't double haul you WILL have problems. Then again, a six foot fish laying motionless in 2 feet of water can make the best casters crumble, I have seen it numerous times and thats why we all love to do it! Snook are also really aggressive right now along with red fish. And the trout being taken right now are large in the mid 20's and thick. This is a great time to achieve a grand slam and should last through May. Do not hesitate to call if you would like to experience one of the greatest fishing adventures in the United States. Season is in full swing and if you wait to long to call you just might have to wait until next year. Until my next report, Tight lines and screaming drags to all! Capt. Jeff Legutki
