Windy season is on the way! Looks like the fan will be on for the entire week! Windy conditions blowing 15 -25 out of the N.E. will give us negative tide levels in the 10k Islands and the Everglades. Good tides for sightfishing and the dominate wind direction will give us clear water as well. Look for reds and snook at the last half of the falling tides on the outer islands and inside coves! When tide turns in, outside points with current and bait will find you fish. Fly patterns mimicing finger mullet have been working well in natural colors. As the waters continue to drop in temperature the patterns will start to switch to crab and shrimp patterns. On the beaches pompano have been showing up as well as schools of bluefish and mackeral. Flocks of diving birds will point you in the right direction. With all the wind from the ne the beaches off Marco and Naples should be real clean and clear. Soft plastics and tube jigs are working well off the beaches. Pink and chart. working well for pompano. Tight lines and screaming drags to all! Capt. Jeff
