See ya there! I got out for about three hours on Friday afternoon, launching at the SR 46 ramp next to the Jolly Gator. Using theBang-O-Craft I ran up the St. Johns to the Econ, and went a short distance up the Econ. I tossed a black Road Runner, 1/16th ounce. I was expecting crappie, but hooked a largemouth and caught several redbreasts, a couple stumpknockers, and a warmouth. The freshwater fish here have funny names! The crappie are running in Lake Harney according to fishermen I spoke with at the boat ramp. Fishing has been a low priority the past two weeks because I am trying to assimilate an entirely new skill set and vocabulary, on which I have been spending several hours daily. This process is nowhere close to being finished. Upcoming reports may be rather dull because of that. Tomorrow my two boys, Scott Radloff, and I are going to kill a few hogs for our Thanksgiving Day barbecue. Thirty six people are expected to be here for a sit down dinner. Getting meat, part of the Thanksgiving Day tradition! And please pass the pie! I hope all my readers have a wonderful holiday. Please take a few moments to thank your Great Spirit for all your blessings. Life is short- GO FISHING! And life is great and I love my work!
