Fishing in Galveston has been good when the weather cooperates. Fishing along the Galveston Jetties are yielding good numbers of sheepshead, redfish, and the speckled trout are beginning to show up. The specks that we have caught are very, very nice up to 7 lbs! As the water continues to warm, more and more specks will be showing up. The back bays and bayous are also heating up with nice slot redfish, and speckled trout. Flounder are in the bays, and gigging is great when the weather and wind allows. The bait of choice has been live shrimp free lined along the jetties, and in the back bays and bayous - fish live shrimp under a Cajun Thunder popping cork.{%image_id=32710%}{%image_id=32709%}{%image_id=32704%}{%image_id=32712%}{%image_id=32707%}{%image_id=32706%}
