Every year during the summer Lake oconee becomes very hot because of the humpback, and it takes some time for the lake to turn back over and good fishing to return. I am happy to say it has started, and by the looks of things, it is going to be a great year. The stripers look very healthy having survived the heat of summer and they are very hungry. We are catching some really good stripers and crappie in some of the old areas that we caught them 1o years ago, which means the population is doing very well. This month will show the huge crappie coming in their staging areas and it is the month to catch some of the biggest crappie of the year. If you want to get on one of these trips, give me a call. You won't be disappointed

Tight Lines,
