November 2, 2006 Water Temp 68 Finally, Its On! The hybes have showed up enmass and the beginning of the new fishing season in now underway. You will find the fish in River Bend, Richland Creek and around Flagpole point. We are using big bass minnows right now, but the stomachs of these fish are filled with 3 inch shad. This is typical of their feeding behavior for this time of year. Flat-lines and Down-lines are working very well and late in the evening you will catch a few of the places showing fish busting up on top. Another piece of good news is our stripers. The first years catch has grown to over 3 pounds and they are a lot of fun to catch. Put you some warm clothes on, give me a call and lets go fishing. Tight Lines Doug
