Stripers are back and Hungry

This is the start of our wide open, big mad striper bite on Lake Oconee. The water has dropped into the 50's, the bait is grouping and the fish are gorging themselves. The best bite is in the morning and we are boating between 30 - 50 stripers and hybrids on every trip we take. The big fun part of all this is we are casting artificials at the fish, so however many you want to catch is totally up to you. It is only going to get better as it gets colder.
