The Crappie are making a strong show!

Fall Crappie fishing is finally here, and am I ready for it!! Today was a great day on the water and it should just continue to get silly good on Oconee. Last year our fish started up early, and it appears they are going to do the same thing again. We are fishing in the deep river channels, suspending baits over submerged timber. We are sometimes fishing as deep as 14 feet, which is typical for this time of year. The fish have been really good sizes and it will keep getting better as we approach the full moon.
