While flounder fishing may not be the most glamorous type of inshore fishing, these fine eating flat fish can certainly be targeted. On our last three trips, we brought home over 50 flounder. In the mix has also been a fairly reliable redfish bite with a fair amount of trout thrown in-although many are short. The tripletail fishing has been hit or miss, but is still a very reliable site fishing opportunity off the beaches of Jekyll Island. The shark fishing off the beaches of St Simons Island has been absolutely outstanding. It is not uncommon to catch four or five species of shark a day. Further south, my good buddy Capt. TJ Cheek has reported great catches of sea bass, amber jack and barracuda offshore.

Tight Lines,
