St Simons Island Winter Fishing Still Hot!!

We were able to take advantage of a nice little warming trend and some midday low tides. In four fabulous days of fishing we caught and released nearly just over 100 fish! About 2/3 of our catch was trout and small profile soft plastics were the bait of choice. The red fish and black drum also cooperated vey well, and fresh live shrimp was the tickets for both these drum. Surprisingly enough a few flounder were caught as well.
