Have been doing very well the last few weeks with the redfish and trout. The redfish bite has been on the flats, next to the grass or oyster beds, with live shrimp or mud minnows under a Midcoast popping cork. The trout bite is in deeper creeks near structure, such as trees or docks, using live bait on Carolina rigs, and dragged slowly on the bottom. Norton Sand eel grubs are also producing, especially the electric chicken color. With water temps in the mid fifties, the bite should stay strong for a while.
