We catch these Salmon until July then the action switches over to the Columbia river for Salmon and Summer Steelhead. Buoy 10 in Astoria, Oregon opens August 1st. In many peoples opinion - Buoy 10 has become a world class fishery. We will be fishing for Chinook and Coho Salmon there through mid September. Then it will be back to Portland to take advantage of the strong runs of the Upriver Bright Chinook Salmon.
