Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama Fishing Happy Memorial day to everyone. We have enjoyed some great fishing over the last week. You will see some great catches from some 12 and 14 hour trips as shown in the pics below. The red snapper bite is still not great, but we are still catching some nice ones. Until the snapper bite gets better, I would recommend a 4 or 6 hour trip for trolling and bottomfishing. These are our short trips and are especially good for families. However, many families with teenagers are booking the 12 hour trips. We are fully air conditioned and fitted with a satellite radio stereo system inside and outside on the back deck. The 12 and 14 hour trips are still the big hit with us on the Getaway. Big fish and variety are always our target on these trips. A great 14 hour trip as shown in the pic below.
