News from along the shores of the Alabama Gulf. The king mackerel have arrived near the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. They are being caught near the beaches to 8 miles off the beach. This is great family fishing in Gulf Shores or a great fishing charter for you and your friends. We are catching king mackerel and Spanish mackerel on the 4 hour trips. Red snapper fishing season will open June 1st and close August 5th. A 6 hour charter will be all you need to catch some really nice red snapper. We are seeing red snapper everywhere we go.
