Been out a few days this week and the bite for the redfish has been excellent. Sunday morning, we loaded up on bait and fished on oyster bars in open water landing a solid 20 or so nice redfish, with the smallest being 24", the largest at 31. We had a few small trout and mangrove snapper to go along with them. Yesterday I got a late start. Loaded up on bait and worked similar oyster bars. A lot more mangrove snapper today. Landed a solid redfish. Wind picked up and lighting was dropping so made a short move into the cut and worked mangrove shoreline. More mangrove snappers. And a couple larger trout.
