Islamorada, Florida Keys open back up on June 1st!

Islamorada

It's been a very tough season this spring down here in the keys with the whole county being closed to visitors from late March through May, but we recently got some very good news. The Keys will be open to visitors again starting on June 1st! The fishing has been excellent down here in Islamorada. We haven't been able to do many charters with the lack of customers, but when we have had an occasional charter or gone fun fishing with family and friends the fishing has been Fantastic. We managed to get out for the opening of grouper season on May 1st and where rewarded with our limit of nice black grouper and a bunch of yellowtail snapper. Earlier in the closure the cobia bite back in the gulf of Mexico was on fire. The good thing about the timing of the opening of the keys is that we'll be open for the peak of our dolphin and tarpon seasons. We also have very good reef and bottom fishing all summer so we should be able to take advantage of that too. I'm running my new boat the Conch 27 full time now and it's been working out great. We've still got plenty of availability all summer so give me a call. Thanks Capt. Bruce Capt.
