Water temp 47 to 49 Water is clear Well, boys and girls, it is just about that time of the year. The phone has started ringing, the snow has melted and fisherman are starting to get cabin fever, and not a moment too soon. We have had a tough, early winter here on Lake Oconee and it has really effected the fishing. The crappie bite was red hot before all the white stuff blew in, but it appears that everything is just about to get back to normal. When the full and new moons of February and March show up, the huge crappie will be in full swing and it is the best time of the year to catch the biggest crappie of your life.
