The week of the fourth was very good for fishing. Tropical storm Debbie was out of here and the fishing showed. The challenge early in the week was finding clear water to fish. With all the fresh water coming out of the rivers and creeks I thought it would through the fishing off instead it just seemed to make it better.{%image_id=27728%}{%image_id=27729%}{%image_id=27730%} My two main targets are redfish and snook and they did not seem to mine the conditions at all.{%image_id=27731%} As the week went on trout fishing got better in water from four to eight feet deep. At the end of the week I had a charter who wanted to try the grouper fishing since the season started on the first of July. We only went out to the fourty and fifty foot areas off Anna Maria and boy was the bite on.{%image_id=27732%} Every pinfish and sardine that was put out was met with a good bite. The three best fish all were in the fifteen pound range. And we should of had a limit but the guys just could not keep them out of the rocks. I can not wait to get back out there! Good Fishing! Capt.
