Lake Allatoona

This Lake Allatoona Fishing Guides Report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email [email protected]. Line sides Fishing is getting Better !!!! Most of you know when the bite get slows on Allatoona I move most of my trips to Carters Lake.... Well it looks like I will be able to offer both lakes again.. The bite on Allatoona is starting to pick up. The northend of the lake from Little River to Fields Landing is holding a ton of white bass and a few decent Stripers right now. The white bass will hit a 1/2 spoon, Roster tail, Tiny Fluke and small thread fin shad. The bigger striper are wanting to eat big. You best bet for a big fish right now is to pull bigger baits. Large Gizzard shad being my first choose with Trout being my second choose. The big school of smaller Hybrids are starting to show back up on the main lake. I have had some reports of big schools of Hybrids in Kellogg's Creek all the way south to Clear Creek. These fish are eating Thread fin shad, small Gizzard shad and small trout fished on down lines at 18 -32 feet deep. The water temp is getting cold. And in a few more weeks throwing a cast net can get deadly. Most of the bait stores have trout in stock right now. And Striper Soup has plenty of fresh shad in all sizes. Please be safe this winter. The water is low and cold..... But the good news is the fishing is fixing to get really hot........ If you would like to book one of our boats. Just give us a call at 770 827-6282 Troller's keep pulling your Mack farr u- rigs 120 feet behind the boat at speeds between 2.4 - 3.1 miles and hour.......
