Lake Allatoona Fishing Report November ( Week 1 )

Lake Allatoona

Lake Allatoona Fishing Guides Report Nov. ( Week 1 ) This Lake Allatoona fishing guides report is bought to you by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service. www.firstbiteguideservice.com 770 827 6282. Line side fishing is good. The fishing is the best we have ever seen in October. The better fish are still out over the river channel and the schoolers are still up shallow and can be caught off points, humps and flats. The lake is still in turn over and the fish are on the move. This week we have caught good numbers stripers and hybrids out over the river channel fishing 40 feet deep with live bait, and then again pulling umbrella rigs on a 18 foot bottom. The fish that are out over the river channel seem to be on the bigger size. But the ones that are up shallow are more willing to eat. Trolling the umbrella rig bite is probably the best over all bite. But look for these fish to be on the smaller size. This week we have been pulling my rigs 75 to 80 feet behind the boat on a 16 to 20 bottom. These fish are on the move so make sure you cover a lot of water. We caught fish as far north as the S turns this week all the way south to the dam. Top water bite is dead and we have seen very limited top water action this week and most of it seems to be spotted bass. Look for the top water bite to pick up after the lake finishes turning over.
