Lake Lanier Striper Fishing Report for Early June

Lake Lanier

Lake Lanier is setting up for the summer pattern. As part of this pattern, the stripers will be moving to the south end of the lake and will be schooling up. To find these schools, start half way back in the creeks and look towards the mouths. Your best bet is a Captain Mack's U-Rig or lead core with a 1 1/2 oz Captain Mack's Chipmunk Jig with a trailer or herring. Once you find a big school mark them and turn around and drop down lines to them. Start with down lines in the 50' - 60' areas off the points and humps with downlines 15-20' down. This fishing report is brought to you by Ron Mullins of The Striper Experience, 678-300-4865.
