Striper fishing has been great this week. We are doing well on morning and afternoon trips. The fish are relating to deep brush and schools of herring. If you find these two things the fish are close by. The fish are schooled up in large active groups looking to feed. Double hook ups have been a common occurrence around these Striper schools. There is a good bite on the south end and on the north end. These fish are moving from the less oxygenated water in the backs of creeks to the more oxygenated main lake areas. Stripers can be found around points, deep banks, and humps. Spotted bass are in the post spawn mode and hungry. Any shad or herring intimation hard bait will tear these guys up. Call me at 678-634-3408, or shoot me and e-mail at [email protected] for rates and availability. It's a great time to be on the lake. We still have a couple of open dates in July.
