Fishing Report Water Temp 79 I am very sorry for the late fishing report, ladies and gentleman. I have been out of the state for a few weeks and really missing time that I should be spending on the water. So I will have to submit this report from the trustworthiness of my fellow anglers, who have been fishing in my absence. It is getting better! The lake is starting to turn over and the good fishing is just around the corner. There are reports of hybrids and white coming up at the Hayfields and the I-20 Bridge. While they are not the big ones any fish on the line is welcome after such a brutal summer. The tackle being used are jigging spoons and live bait. The important thing to look for right now is shad congregated in certain pockets of the lake. If you can find the shad, you can find the hybrids.
