After a great big fish season in February and March, the big sows and males have enough water coming down the Washita River to make a spawning run, and, they have done so in mass. Fishing for keeper size fish, however, is very good now, and, will continue to improve as the water warms. We caught our limit this morning by 11:00 and yesterday by 10:00. The keepers are very healthy and are averaging 16-19 inches. Fish are on the shallow flats, but, can also be found in deep water.
