The bass fishing on Lake Toho has been getting better each day with the lake temps warming up to 73* in some parts. Two clients this week caught their personal best largemouth bass and all trips are with artificial lures. We've caught fish up shallow on the inside of the k-grass lines in 1'-2' and in different parts of the lake in 3' fishing around scattered hydrilla in between the lily pads. Water clarity varies around Lake Toho and adjusting colors to the different "stains" is key. For darker water flukes or speed worms in black with gold flake have been solid, and when moving to cleaner water you can stay with that but a watermelon red, houdini, blk/blue, or redbug all have produced good fish. A dead-stick presentation gently pulling the baits off the grass is getting the bigger fish.{%image_id=31655%}{%image_id=31654%}
