Eufaula, Alabama The fishing community lost a true friend this morning. Lee King, age 20 went to be with our Lord and Savior after years of fighting Niemann-Pick disease. Over the past eleven years, the fishermen and the fishing industry have poured out their love and support through their participation in the Lee King Benefit Buddy Tournament held on the second Saturday of June each year. Lee is responsible for bringing so much love and support together through these people. We will miss him but his legacy will live on through the event each year as we continue to fight for a cure for the other Niemann-Pick disease children. Further details of the services will be posted on www.leekingbenefit.org after the arrangements are finalized at 2:00 P.M. today. Tentative viewing plans are to be at Calvary Baptist Church on Baker Drive at 6:00 P.M. Sunday with services on Monday February 28, 2011.
