Another Great Day Catching 4-5-09

{%image_id=8889%} {%image_id=8890%} {%image_id=8888%} Fred Fish, Mike Arendes, and Rob Berner was on board today for a great day of catching trout, reds, and flounder. We found the trout busting up shrimp all around us at our first stop. It looked like we were going to smoke them, but the bite shut off after only boating 20 fish. We made a few more stops only picking up a couple at each stop. I decided to go check a old honey hole...and "it was ON"!!! We had the yellow-mouths coming in from all directions. The guys wanted some reds, so we left the trout biting to head for the ponds. Rob hooked up pretty quick, but not many hits after that. We ended up boating only five reds with one throw back. Thanks guys for the great company today and thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for putting the trip together.
