None This past Saturyday we had Mike Smith and family down from Mississippi. Cobia was the target species with snapper being second. We started out snapper fishing and found them easily. We left with 15 in the boat to search for some cobia. First stop we caught a 45lb. King Mackerel. I wish we would have found him about a month ago for the SKA Tournament. The cobia weren't biting very good. We put one in the boat about 25-30lbs. and that was it. They did have plenty of reds, sharks, and release fish. However, I don't remember the last time so many fish were lost. Some days you have about a 95% hook-up/fish actually getting in the boat ratio to the lowest about 50%, when you only get half of what you hook in the boat. We had about a 30% fish actually in the boat on Sat. Some days it happens that way. But everyone had a great time and took home a lot of meat. Snapper season closes October 31st, so if you still want to catch'em you have until then. Tuna fishing is good right now. The big ones are out there. Capt. Damon McKnight/Super Strike Charters
