Spanish Mackerl and kingfish made a good showing off Anna Maria beaches this past week. All you have to do is find the flocks of birds over the bait schools and the predators are not far behind. Put a chum bag out and a few live baits and your in business. When the bite is really on you can use wire leaders. If it slows done go to mono and a long shank hook. Good Fishing! Capt. Rick Gross
