Waters are warming
Penobscot Bay, maine
David Cassidy Sr.
July 13, 2008
Lakes and Ponds in my area of Downeast Maine has been producing a few fish. It has been deep water trolling with sewn smelts for Togue, LL Salmon, and Browns. No real big fish but have been catching some. They range 16-20 inches. But the bass fishing has been going strong. The warmer water has been good for them. Tubes, swimbaits, and other plastics been working well. Stripers are still very slow here. It looks like it is going to be late for them this year. Mackeral are running and people are catching them from shore.
Tight Lines,
Capt. David Cassidy Sr.
